I searched far and wide for the great white buffalo Disco. After checking out several dealers, extensive online research, and a few test drives, I was able to find the car that met all of the specifications for the expedition at Prestige Motor Imports in Brea, CA.

Having lived in this area for a while, I knew there were no challenging trails in the park, but this trail would find itself outside of the park… and was challenging indeed.
A true desert queen, the Landy performed admirably for what can assuredly be its first trip off pavement. Despite being equipped with the OEM Bridgestone Dueler tires, the extended air suspension, 4.4 V8 engine, locking rear differentials, and most importantly my expert spotter all worked in harmony to allow the beast to ascend, traverse, and conquer anything rock, cliff, or obstacle that the Old Dale Mining Road could put ahead of it.

The future lies ahead, and many new adventures await this state-of-the-art wonder of modern engineering.
